Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is a session like?
A: Sessions are usually scheduled in 50-60 minute increments but occasionally sessions may be longer when scheduled in advance. A session is a time to relax and to explore and process emotions, thoughts or beliefs that are a source of suffering. It’s a time to share and examine the conditions and issues that are causing stress and emotional pain. You’ll learn skills and strategies that soothe the emotions of anger, sadness and anxiety and how to communicate and assert yourself effectively in all your relationships.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: The number of sessions is determined by you: your life path, progress and chosen goals. You lead in our work together.
Q: How do I pay for a session?
A: Please see our payment options page for more information
Q: Are my sessions private and confidential?
A: Absolutely. All information shared in a counseling/coaching session is strictly and completely confidential.
Q: Can I bring my child or friend along for the session?
A: It’s best that you arrive at our appointment for yourself with the least amount of stress and distraction, so the focus is on you and your freedom to share your true thoughts and feelings. Feel free to bring a 2nd (or 3rd) party when relationship(s), parenting and effective communication are part of your session.
Q: How many years have you been doing this work?
A: 40 years
